On our travels around Disney, we have realised that it is possible to do everything on offer. However, it does require you to think ahead. We have put together our Disney World Planning Guide which is aimed at providing useful information for those who are first time travellers to Disney, and those who are veterans.
This guide was inspired by Vikki’s grandparents wanting to know all the tips we could provide them. They hadn’t been to Disney (or the USA) before. We put together a crash course in how to make the most of their Disney vacation when at our wedding.
The Disney World Planning Guide
Whether you’ve been to Florida before, or not, you will want to maximise your enjoyment. Planning your holiday is very important to ensuring you get everything done that you’d like to. In Florida, there are many things to do. Some of the most popular attractions is the Walt Disney World theme parks,
You can learn about each of the theme parks by clicking on them above. However, if you’re planning your trip, the reality is you are already sold on the many popular attractions. You will be left wondering things about where to find accommodation in Orlando and what restaurants are recommended in Orlando or Disney.
For now, this brief guide is aimed at your average traveller and can be used as a baseline that you can modify to your own needs. We hope to bring you a useful guide which is tailored to specific groups of people to make planning your holiday to disney much easier.
1 – Set your holiday budget
The most important part of planning your holiday is knowing what your budget is. I recommend you do this first as you will know that when you start looking at the brochures on accommodation which hotels are going to be affordable. It’s worth putting forth that a holiday to the USA from anywhere in the UK is not going to be cheap. However, it is important to remember that it does not have to be expensive.
There are important factors to include when setting your budget. These are to include,
- price fluctuations due to departure/arrival airport
- hotel costs
- travel insurance
- car hire
- disney park tickets
- food budget
- souvenir money
2 – Review hotel location options
